Young Family Endorsement
Alaska needs someone who is ready to fight.

We see it when we watch the news, go to the grocery store, or even fill up our gas tanks – lifelong D.C. bureaucrats don’t understand Alaskans. More than ever before, Alaska needs someone ready to fight.
I will fight – I’ve sacrificed too much for this country and state to let it go any further. After the horrific 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, I knew I would not sit this one out. I enlisted in the U.S. Army to protect our country from her enemies.
Two tours in Iraq, a Purple Heart, and years of serving the Alaska State House & Senate have continued to ignite my fire for the state and country we all love.
With my family’s blessing and much prayer, I’m humbled to announce my candidacy to fill the impossibly big shoes left by Congressman Don Young: I’m running to be Alaska’s next Congressman! I will continue to fight and deliver for Alaska with every ounce of my being. With your support, I will make sure every Alaskan’s voice is heard!

Know Who You're Voting For
Josh Revak grew up on a family farm in rural Minnesota, where he learned the importance of hard work, community, and family. At age 20, following the events of September 11, 2001, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served a full tour in Iraq as a main battle tank crew member with the 1-37 Armor, 1st Armored Brigade, 1st Armored Division, under the leadership of Major General Martin Dempsey. In his second tour of Iraq, Revak was severely wounded by an enemy mortar attack.

After being honorably discharged from the military, he continued to dedicate his time and energy to serving his community. In 2008, Revak earned the Commander's Award for Public Service, a civilian medal awarded by the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard.

In 2009, Revak moved to Anchorage with his wife Marta and his two daughters, Keilah and Sydney. He was soon hired by Congressman Don Young and served as the Congressman's Military and Veterans Affairs Liaison and Advisor for six years. During that time, he also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Alaska Pacific University.

In 2016, Revak was hired by Senator Dan Sullivan, where he worked for over two years in the Anchorage office spearheading issues related to the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

In 2018, Revak was elected to House District 25 legislative seat. He was then honored to be appointed to the Senate District M seat, where he now proudly represents the Huffman, O'Malley, Abbott Loop, Independence Park, and East Dowling areas of Anchorage. Senator Revak is humbled to represent his neighbors in the State Senate and vows to continue to work hard to provide the safe streets, good schools, and economic opportunities needed to ensure a bright future for our children and our amazing State.

"I fought for our country overseas and was wounded in combat, then I came home and continued that fight to put Alaska first. If you give me the opportunity, I will fight for Alaska with everything I have in DC. As Don Young said, 'I will win the battles that Alaska can’t afford to lose.'"
